What is the difference between Nylon and Polyester?

Nylon flags are lighter flags and fly easier in lighter breezes. Nylon flags are less expensive and the flag will wear out before the colors fade.

Polyester flags are much heavier than Nylon. The flag is more expensive but will not wear out as fast as a comparable Nylon flag. The colors will most likely fade on the flag long before the flag wears out. This is the best flag for windy areas. Polyester flags are not recommended for small poles attached to buildings.
